The Music of Photography

I believe the best photographs capture the unexpected, making ordinary moments sing like great music. That’s “the music of photography” — authentic images where composition, light, and timing come together to create something unforgettable.

I fell in love with photography while driving solo through O’Keeffe Country in 1992. It was there that I discovered my style: an eye for the spontaneous and unexpected, a focus on composition and authenticity (with little editing), and a musical soul.

Rather than chasing famous landmarks, I’m drawn to the moments that reveal the true character of a place or its people. Those are often the moments to remember.

Guest artist my son Taylor Price contributes photographs that share a similar style but bring his own perspective.

And my wife Katherine Price has always been my muse and favorite subject.

I hope these photographs invite you to experience the world in a new way, through our eyes.
